Sherri and Our Forester were out checking on some

timber sales on the ranch the other day and she found

over two lbs of Golden Chantrelles. and we had them for

dinner tonight. They were fantastic, MMMMMM

and the steak and wine was damn good also.

we sauteed the mushrooms and leeks togeather and added

Gruyere Cheese and baked it in a tart shell. the steaks

were dry rubbed and broiled, and the wine was a Umpqua

Valley White Zinfandel.

I blew weight watchers tonight

I've only found them once. They are delicious.

That tart idea sounds really good too.

the tart shell was very savory with herbs and pepper in it
MMMMMMM I feel any 'shroom would rock this way

Its aMushroom Dear and it is about
$50.00 a pound to buy and they grow wild in our woods
