These boot where made for ..........

I dont spend much money on myself....My wife buys my clothes and I kinda bumble along and say "OK"I trust her taste in my clothing. I like firearms, but I have just got this Bee in my bonnet (mental Pic is funny) and I want a new pair of boots, and not just any boots I want a pair of Double H Packers with the 10 inch tops, I haven't had a new pair of Cowboy boots in 16 years and I think I deserve them. I think I will just buy them for my Birthday in a couple of months and call it good.

Boots are good, but good boots can be hard to find.

daaauuumm, I might have to pimp a pair of those.
I used to get boots made in Laredo Mexico from this contact I made years back. It was really cool. It meant two weekends at the border. Both trips consisting of the same road trip and buggy through the border town deep the heart of the middle of nowhere. Then we'd walk into this dirt-floor shop and pick out the heal, toe, leathers/skin, etc. while they traced our foot on a piece of paper. Then about two or three months later come back and pick them up. $1500 boots for about $200, with a border town trip to boot (pun intended).
My last pair got snaked by a roomate a couple years back, and now it's unsafe to visit the border towns, so I'm without. These just might make for a worthy replacement.

Those old school Mexican Boots are a work of art they are beautiful
and well made

The web site for the Double H site is

http://www.doublehboots.com/

I like the fit of a lace up over a slip on boot, once in a while have a 1200 lbs mule doing the CHA CHA on top of me and i dont like a loose boot when I am doing an E&E
(evade and escape) I wear ropers now but i like a little more heal to a boot
