This a Picture of Dad, as Sgt John A. Newell on Dec 6 1941, he said the next day was one ove the most stressful days in his life, one month later he would be sent off to OCS school and go from Sgt Newell to LT Newell. He taught me more about life and living than I thought possible.
He was the best........ yup.

He's absolutely adorable and precious. I have such a deep love and appreciation for that generation. There's just something about their character that I fear will never be repeated. Thanks for sharing this.
