My words for the week

can you say

Glyphosate

Developed by Monsanto in the 70's it was called Roundup
it kills Plants dead. I pay $88.00 for 2.5 gallons of generic
instead of the $125.00 for brand name

Also
2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid
Also called 2 4-D its a broad leaf herbicide (Dandelions)
I can spray it on my hay field and the non grass weeds disappear

so that's what my week....besides my 9-5 job

I killed weeds on Earth day

LMAO

The Oak

Around Our area we have several Scourges

  1. Himalayan blackberry
  2. English Ivy
  3. Scotch Broom
  4. and Poison Oak

the first three make you cuss and sweat, but the last one will leave its

revenge on you. My Daughters Boyfriend (  we will call him L ) got

the Oak or wood herpes as he calls it.

If you never have had it count your blessings, if you have ever had it

you know what I'm talking here. Not pleasant, There are a few things

you can do to ward of the evil of the Oak, our friends just down the road

at Tec Labs make a substance I swear by (not at) Called "Tecnu".

Getting the oil off of your skin without getting it into your system is

a pain in the Buttocks, and this stuff works well, we even wash our

woodland fire gear in it.

My Father-in-law said the Local blacktail deer ate loads of the Oak

and never suffered from it and that if you ate the deer you would

become immune to the stuff. It's a homeopathic sort of thing but I

think he was right. Also my Daughter brought home Honey that

is made from Poison-oak blossoms…..and its good, once again

homeopathic principles at work.

Have a stomping good week

In the garden and stuff

We cleaned in the garden space this weekend.
It tends to get messy over the winter. I don't
know why but there are weeds to pull and spray
there are rodents and varmints to kill and the
compost has been neglected all winter.
We planted vegetable starts and cursed the blackberries.
and enjoyed a 70 degree day, Oh was it wonderful,
I am getting ready to re manufacture a hole bunch of
8mm Mauser ammo. and I believe I will buy some
copper gas checks and cast up a couple hundred bullets,
I have been polishing brass and sorting it,
(it keeps me out of trouble)
last night a motorcycle sped by the house at well
over 100 mph and not long after that there was a
sheriffs cruiser code 3, then another, and another
with two more sitting in our driveway and watching the road
(silly little meth boy you cant outrun Motorola). LMAO
I went out and told the Deputies They rocked
and to beat the little bastard for me also.

You all have a good week and hug and kiss your family.
